Glenn Woo and Helen came to see Peabo Bryson's show at BB King.
I met Glenn in the early 90's at the World Trade Center when Kilauea was
doing a noontime concert in the plaza for CD 101.9. Over the years,
I've come to realize that there is NO ONE on this planet more fascinating than
Glenn. If you have the honor of meeting him someday, you'll understand why!

New York's finest. I asked if I could take their
picture and they happily obliged!

We were snowed in for a couple of days after our show. The airports were
closed and the streets were quiet. I got a chance to see Britany Spears on MTV
in Times Square, took a subway ride to ground zero, strolled along the Hudson River.
New York was beautiful...and cold. I ended up getting strep throat on the way home.

What a fine mode of transportation! Alabama here we come!
Can it really sleep 14? TV's in every bunk? Way cool!

I got home from Alabama, took off my shoes (as Hawaii people do when
entering a home), threw all my bags down just inside the front door (as I
always do - they'll sit there for days), and realized I wear this same pair of
boots everywhere I go. I'm still alive, so they must be my lucky pair.
Nevermind that I have FIVE pairs of Kenneth Cole boots. These are so worn.
The others look brand new. I'm not one to wear brand names or endorse products
except In and Out Burger and Trader Joe's (cuz they rock the free world!),
but Kenneth Cole shoes are incredibly well designed and comfortable.

I spent my birthday installing a new disposer under my kitchen sink.
Looking back on my life, on this special day, this might very well be
one of my proudest moments!

My warehouse. Actually, this is my garage. I installed these
shelves and bolted them to the wall (I live in LA). I had to
use a hammer-drill to get bolts into the concrete. Man, that thing
makes your arms itchy! They are 9 feet high and can hold 12,000 CDs!
